AREAS OF FOCUS
Revision Spine Surgery
Dr. Lee has seen firsthand how previous surgeries can take not just a physical toll but a psychological one as well, so helping a person get back on their feet is the first step on the road to physical and emotional recovery.
Motion Preservation Surgery
Dr. Lee is deeply passionate about restoring quality of life to his patients. He believes that surgery is only one part of treating the patient as a whole person.
Cervical Disc Replacement
Cervical arthroplasty (cervical disc replacement) is a procedure in which a diseased disc between two vertebrae in the neck is removed and replaced with an artificial disc implant. The implant is intended to allow motion between the two vertebrae, unlike in a spinal fusion. The discs between our vertebrae function like joints, so you can think of a cervical arthroplasty as being akin to a hip or knee replacement, except for a joint in the neck.
Dr. Lee is deeply passionate about restoring quality of life to his patients. He believes that surgery is only one part of treating the patient as a whole person. As a marathoner, he has seen firsthand how injuries can take not just a physical toll but a psychological one as well, so helping a person get back on their feet is the first step on the road to physical and emotional recovery. Surgically, he reviews the latest techniques, including motion preservation, artificial disc replacements, minimally invasive surgical techniques, scoliosis correction, and revision spine surgery.
Dr. Lee was an avid rower during college but transitioned to running and hiking. He has completed multiple marathons since then, and his goal is to climb every 14’er and one day tackle the Boston Marathon and the Kona Ironman.
