Skull Base Surgery
For noncancerous and cancerous growths, skull base surgery may be needed for abnormalities. These may show up on the underside of the brain, the skull base, or the top few vertebrae of the spinal column. Many times, a minimally invasive endoscopic procedure is recommended, due to the areas being difficult. Going through the nose or mouth makes it less invasive. This treatment can be used for multiple conditions: cysts from birth, infection-caused growths, pituitary tumors, non-cancerous tumors, cerebral aneurysm, and more.
