DBS/Epilepsy

When seizures cannot be controlled with medication or when surgery is not possible, Deep Brain Stimulation may be recommended to reduce seizures. By placing electrodes within certain areas of the brain that produce electrical impulses and connecting those to a device that controls stimulation, seizures in someone with epilepsy may significantly decrease.
